Berniece Simpkins Thresher Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berniece Simpkins Thresher (Charleston, Missouri), who passed away on July 19, 2021, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Simpkins and Mary Jane Owens Simpkins; her husband Eli E. Thresher; her son Donald Thresher; her grandson Homer D. Oliver Jr.; and her siblings, JB Simpkins, Carl Simpkins, Johnny Simpkins, Roy Simpkins and Mattie Prince.
She is survived by: her children, Lola M. Armstrong of Charleston, Rosemary Oliver (Homer) of Charleston and Gary E. Thresher (Charlene) of LaCenter, KY; and her brother James F. Simpkins of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
