He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ray and Kate Elizabeth Gray Oliver; his son Charles Edward "Charlie" Oliver; his grandson Caleb Aaron Tatum; and his siblings, Jim Oliver, Rob Oliver, Raymond Oliver, Bertie Wilbanks, Lucille Hepler and Mabel Culp.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Elizabeth Grogan Oliver of Charleston, MO; his daughter Melissa Tatum (Dale) of Bertrand, MO; his daughter-in-law Betty Oliver of Charleston, MO; his siblings, Wayne Oliver of Muskogee, OK, Jo Mesplay of Hornsby, TN and Faye Calvert of Bull; his grandchildren, Lauren Oliver, Jacob Tatum, Katherine Oliver, Madeline Tatum and Isaac Oliver (Kansas); and his great grandchildren, Charley Rae Suggs and Easton Hayes Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Charleston Nutrition Center or Southside Baptist Church of Charleston, MO.
