With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvis Pollard (Charleston, Missouri), born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Pollard and Odessa Pollard; and his siblings, Michael Pollard and Veronica Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Pollard of Cape Girardeau; his children, Al Pollard (Monica) of Swansea, Jeremy Pollard (Kiara) of Columbia and Kaleeni Pollard of Tacoma; and his siblings, Larry Pollard of Centerville, Kenneth Pollard of Springfield, Cedric Pollard of East St, Sylvester Pollard of California, Cheryl Sykes of Washington Park, Priscilla Pollard of Florissant, Melody Lyles of Florida and Angela Prude of Kentucky. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Chapel (304 Vine St, Charleston, MO 63834).
