It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Martin Sr. (Charleston, Missouri), born in Matthews, Missouri, who passed away on June 16, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Martin and Iree Martin; and his siblings, Ira Martin Jr., Helen Williams, Ruth Ann Wellington, Adolfus "Jimmie" Martin, Jerry Martin and Eddie Martin.
He is survived by: his former wife Nancy Lee Williams; his wife Nancy L. Martin of Charleston; his sons, Frentress James Williams Sr. (Sandra) of Charleston, Alfred Martin Jr. (Linda) of Gary, Anthony Martin (Debbie) of Chicago and Lance Martin of Minneapolis; and his siblings, Milton Martin of San Antonio and Evelyn "Mickey" Chappell (Edward) of Calumet City. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
