He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Kent and Rosie Lee Reed Kent; and his grandparents, Albert and Lucille Reed. He is survived by: his former wife Betty Mae Craig; his wife Charlene Reed of Wilson City; his children, Claude Armstrong (Lorene) of Wilson City, Albert Reed, Jr., Terrance Clemons (Lorie) of Charleston, Pammie Roy (Solomon) of Las Vegas and Dr. Katrenia Reed-Hughes (Glen) of Indianapolis; his siblings, Odell Kent Jr. of Charleston, Rosie Ivy of Charleston, Lucille Anderson (Kevin) of Charleston, Lula B. Clark (Robert Earl) of Charleston, Geraldine Fisher (Warren) of Charleston, Jessie B. Gillespie (Charles) of Howardville, Lori Ann Walker of Sikeston and Betty Jo Oliver (R. V.) of Mayfield; and his close friends, Larry Sloan and Verlene Dowell. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
