It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Dowdy of Chaffee, Missouri, born in Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zalma C. Gaines and Catherine Woods; her son Bobby Joe Gaines; her grandson Timothy Schrum; and her siblings, Ray Woods, Wayne Gaines, Richard Gaines, John Bill Gaines and Nancy Tilley.
She is survived by: her son Sam Gaines (Cathy) of Chaffee, MO; her brother Ronnie Gaines (Carol) of Knobnoster, MO; her grandson Ron Schrum (Angie) of Kelso, MO; and her granddaughter-in-law Nicki White of Chaffee, MO.
