With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard N. Pender (Chaffee, Missouri), who passed away on June 6, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Pender and Edna Pender (Church); his son Chuck Hoots; and his brothers, Billy Joe and Douglas Pender.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Thompson Hoots; his children, Van Pender (Suzan) of Sonora, CA, Richard Scott Pender (Sharon) of Cable, OH and Lori Rhodes (Marcus) of Denton, TX; and his siblings, Sally Gann of Poplar Bluff, MO, Geraldine Miller of Colombia, MO, Charlotte Cowell of Marble Hill, MO, Saundra Stout of Imperial, MO and Larry Pender of West Plains, MO. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
