He was predeceased by: his son Gene D. Summers Sr. of Delta, Missouri. He is survived by: his wife Pearl Champ; his daughters, Selma Lutes of Scopus, Georgia Summers of Chaffee and Pearl Rennick of Springfield, Missouri; and his siblings, Dean Summers of Poplar Bluff, James Summers of Poplar Bluff, Leon Summers of Fisk and Donna Ethridge of Poplar Bluff. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
