It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Reed of Chaffee, Missouri, born in Riverdale, Maryland, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Paul and Frances Brelsford Wintermoyer; and her brother John P. Wintermoyer, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Larry Reed; her children, Nancy, John Reed (Sarah) of Rochester, Minnesota, Amanda McDougal (Scott) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Daniel Reed (Jenny) of Plymouth, Minnesota; her sisters, Judy Wolfe (Robert), Paulette Gould (Ronald), Sharon Tobing (Sep), Lisa of Sylva and Carol Cheney; and her grandchildren, Madeline Reed (Ian Sedlacek) of Madison, Emma, Anne, Cora, Meryl McDougal of Cape Girardeau, Jonathan, Jacob and Grace Reed of Plymouth, Minnesota.. She is also survived by friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alton Public School Foundation, 505 School St., Alton, MO 65606 in support of an academic scholarship in Nancy's honor.
