He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Smither and Helen Young Smither. He is survived by: his wife Janet Smither of Chaffee, Missouri; his children, Thorne Smither (Donna) of Oak Ridge, Ryan Smither (Grace) of Beavercreek, Kenny Smither of Texas and Ashley Darnell (Jeff) of Paducah, Kentucky; his stepchildren, Felicianne O'Neal of Scott City, Blaine Blaylock (Sarah) of Scott City and Amanda Blaylock (Mike McClard) of Jackson, Missouri; and his siblings, Gary Smither (Phyllis) of Raceland, Kendra Erwin (Ed) of Winchester and Ricky Smither (Lynn) of Mississippi. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
