He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeno Frank LeGrand and Marena Anna Scherer LeGrand; and his siblings, Anita Hinkebein, Virginia LeGrand, Charlotte LeGrand and Elmer LeGrand.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Tucker; his children, Joseph LeGrand (Peter) of Cape Coral, Nancy Tollison-Chaffee (JD), Judith Lipe (Eddie) of Tamms and Geralyn LeGrand of Chaffee; and his grandchildren, Jacob Carr and Kelsey Tollison.
