It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lewis Hamilton of Chaffee, Missouri, born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on February 15, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel Hamilton and Alfreda Dickerson Hamilton; his siblings, Doris Yahn and Carl Hamilton; and his daughter Shari Hamilton.

He is survived by: his children, Angela O'Connor (Shane), Lisa Carr (Dexter), Herschel Hamilton (Rachel), Lloyd Cross (Bernadette) and Jeff Hamilton (Candy); and his siblings, Linda Lands, Larry Hamilton and Kenneth Hamilton. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.
