He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lester Gaebler and LeVern Gibson Gaebler; his wife Cindy McCoy; and his sons, Jeffery Gaebler of Sylvester, Kenny Gaebler (Alaina) of Whitewater, Branden Gaebler (Alexandrea) of Norman, Oklahoma and Michael Scott Gaebler. He was also cherished by eight brothers, two sisters, and sixteen grandchildren.
