He was predeceased by: his father Carson Burns; his brothers-in-law, Gary Pender and Jeff Moore; his niece Vanessa Lorenz; and his nephew Michael Borgfield.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Pulliam Burns; his sons, Chad Burns (Kelsey) of Marion and Justin Burns (Dakota); his grandsons, Lincoln and Landon of Cape Girardeau; his sisters, Brenda Pender of Jackson, Linda Crader (Kevin) of Jackson, Debby Lorenz (Curtis) of Pocahontas and Terri Moore (Brian Alworth) of Cape Girardeau; his nieces, Erica Graff (Michael), Lori Quade, Nikki Hodges, Carly and Sydney Rapp; his pet Runaway; and also Betty Burns of Jackson.
However, the family has requested that everyone is to wear a mask, refrain from handshaking and hugs, and practice social distancing for the safety of all in attendance.
