He was predeceased by: his parents, Loomis Pirtle and Emma Edwards Pirtle; his son Jerry Pirtle, Jr.; and his sisters, Ruth Ann Pirtle and Brenda Pirtle.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Faye Daniels; his children, Mark Patrick Pirtle (Tina) of Naylor, Missouri and Glenda Faye Thomas (Danny) of Randels, Missouri; his sisters, Jeanette Eftink of Chaffee and Rose Wolfert of Perkins, Missouri; his grandchildren, Joshua Pirtle, Nathan Parker, Matthew Pirtle, Isaiah Thomas, Danielle Thomas, Chase Buckner and Justin Buckner; and his great grandchild Wyatt Buckner.
