It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane James of Chaffee, Missouri, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Menz and Hazel Ida Menz (Macomas); her spouse Hadley James; her children, Joni Kezer and Hank James; and her sisters, Bessie Dudley Phelps and Nora Bates.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Story (Lawrence) of Advance and Kathryn Smith of Bradley, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michael Whisker (Karrie), Becky Sherman (John), Jason Smith Sr., James Smith and Joshua Kezer; and her siblings, Edward Menz of Wilmington, Illinois and Katie Magruder (Ralph) of Kankakee, Illinois.. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
