It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Schlegel (Chaffee, Missouri), born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Schmitt and Adella M. Glueck Schmitt. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Daniel of Cape Girardeau and Rachael Daniel (Chris Bittle) of Merriam, Kansas; her stepson Jon Jeffry Schlegel; and her sister Paula Worley of Millersville, Missouri. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
