It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Halbert Vickery of Chaffee, Missouri, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Scheeter and Dora Goetz Scheeter; her former husband Harold Halbert; her husband Charles Vickery Jr.; her children, Scott Halbert and Jan Halbert; and her siblings, Dick Scheeter, LaVera Schwartz and Charlene Morgan.
She is survived by: her sons, Hal Halbert (Linda) of Wappapello, Missouri and Mitchell Halbert (Jill) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and her stepsons, Charles Vickery (Kathy) of Sikeston and Jim Vickery (Susie) of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, and thirteen step-great-grandchildren.
