Dorothy Clara Menz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Clara Menz of Chaffee, Missouri, born in Sikeston, Missouri, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe P. Heisserer and Coletta Louise Heisserer (Glastetter); and her brothers, Joe A. Heisserer, Elmer Heisserer and Tom Heisserer.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Menz (Kathy) of New Hamburg, Kevin Menz (Teresa) of Jackson, Terry Menz of Scott City, Sharon Owens of Cape Girardeau and Joyce Owens (Wade) of Fruitland; her siblings, Ralph Heisserer, Anna Bollinger (Fred), Helen Cleary and Kathy Boesch (Brian); and her sisters-in-law, Clare, Sue and Sharon. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel (203 W Yoakum Ave, Chaffee, MO 63740). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (1017 State Hwy A, Chaffee, MO 63736).
