He was predeceased by: his father Norman Henry Hampton; his niece Andrea Hampton; and his brother-in-law Larry Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Hampton (Bolton) of Chaffee; his daughters, Casey Hillemann (Brandon) of Scott City and Shannon Hanback (Travis) of Chaffee; his siblings, Andy Hampton (Jody) of Omaha, Nebraska and Linda Phillips of Oran; his grandchildren, Caden Hillemann, Alexis Hanback, Dylan Corvick, Macy Hillemann, Larissa Hanback, Addisyn Hillemann, Abbigale Hanback and Kai Hanback; his great grandchildren, Cohen Hillemann, Ava Carron and Bently Corvick; and his pet Doofus. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel (203 W Yoakum Ave, Chaffee, MO 63740). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
