He is survived by: his children, Marissa Taft (Brent), Brenda Cather (Nathaniel), Diana Heckwine, Rocky Cox, Charles Cox, Jr. and William Cox; his sisters, Dava Knotts (Rick) and Carolyn Price; his grandchildren, Dylan A. Stout, Joseph H. Stout, Mason M. Stout, Baxter C. Cather, Damen Heckwine, Dani Heckwine, Zackary Heckwine, Sofia Taft, Nevin Cox and Maleah Cox; and his half-sister Emma Ruth Estay. He is also survived by three half-brothers and one half-sister.
