He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carl Estes and Tessie Pauline Copman; and his siblings, William "Bill" Estes Sr., Bernice Bess and Hazel Reams.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Bishop; his children, Debbie Essner (Kenny) of Dexter, Missouri, Keith Estes of Chaffee, Carl Estes Jr. (Laura) of Chaffee, Kevin Estes of Chaffee and Rick Choate of Benton, Missouri; his sister Shirley Hopper of Morley, Missouri; his grandchildren, Mallory of Chaffee, Miranda of Chaffee, Storm Estes of Chaffee, Brett Estes of Chaffee, Nicole Egli of Keller, Kent Essner of Dexter, Andrea Sampanis of Vienna, Brian Choate of Chandler and Luke Choate of Burke, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Kolbey Estes, Carter Hendricks, Braden, Samantha Egli, Klaire, Kennedy Essner, Tristan, Isabel Sampanis, Kaylee, Ethan Choate, Mason and Landon Choate.
