He is survived by: his wife Janie Smith of Centralia, MO; his children, John Matthew "Matt" Smith (Audrey) of Centralia, MO, Leslie Erin Gunter (Zach) of Hallsville, MO and Justin Andrew "Drew" Smith (Tory) of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Mallory Michelle, Adam Matthew Smith, Abigail Ruth and Lila Dru Gunter; his brother David Richard Smith (Lois) of Montgomery, AL; and his siblings-in-law, Dean Bradley and John David Parsons (Sherry). He is also survived by seven nephews.
