With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laveine Townsend (Centralia, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on March 25, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hastel Laveine and Beulah Leola Townsend (McGill); his siblings, Beulah Gay Sandelin, Patricia Townsend and Paul Robert Townsend; and his brother-in-law Steve Bumgarner.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Bumgarner; his children, Catherine Colston (Gary) of Sturgeon and David Townsend (Michelle) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Garrison Colston (Ashley), Allison Colston, Bryson Colston, James Townsend and Grace Townsend; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Marshall and Lila Colston; and his brother David L. Townsend (Janet) of Louisville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Missouri Veterans Home of Mexico- Dementia Floor or the First Baptist Church of Centralia and may be sent in care of Fenton-Kendrick Funeral Home, 104 S. Collier, Centralia, MO 65240.
