He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Lucille Wheeler (Smith); and his siblings, Linda Wheeler Smith and Billy Don Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Taft; his children, John Edward Wheeler (Candy) of Centralia, Gretchen Spires (Bryan) of Thompson and Danelle Mathews (Daniel) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Amanda Forshee, Sadie Foster (Seth), Hailey Hammons, Mollie Wheeler, Anabelle Fenwick (Corey), Amelia Lehle (Jake), Garrett Spires (Stephanie), Tanner Spires, Sarah Spires (Trevor), Callie Timmerberg, Will Mathews and Jack Henry Mathews; his sister Nada Wheeler Gibson of Centralia; and his stepbrothers, James Sanders (Bonnie) of Columbia and Buck Ball of Mexico. He is also survived by many brother and sisters-in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews.
