He was predeceased by: his parents, Werner A. Hass and Isabelle Selma Hass (Weinbach); his son Luke Hass; and his son-in-law Travis Greenwood. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Lorraine Lund; his children, Bunnia Greenwood of Centralia and Durward Hass (Erin) of Centralia; his grandchildren, Durwood "Woody" Hass of Dwayne and Stacie Hass Kiefer (Kevin); and his sister Ginger Stepple of Northfield, MN..
