He was predeceased by: his parents, William Alfred Cockrum and Bessie Fay Cockrum (Crowder); and his brothers, Junior Cockrum, Denny Cockrum, Larry Cockrum and Glen Cockrum.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Cockrum; his children, Alan Kim Cockrum, Michael Ray Cockrum and Francis Meyer; and his grandchildren, Nicole Hall, Josh Meyer, Aaron Meyer, Jesse Lytle and Brian Schmidt. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
