She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Dennehy (Granville) and Daniel Dennehy; and her siblings, Daniel Dennehy and Joanne Hadayia. She is survived by: her husband Steve Lair of Centerview, MO; her daughter Jacqueline Nowalk of Kansas City, MO; her siblings, Thomas Dennehy (Susan) of Denver, CO, William Dennehy (Marie) of The Villages, FL, Paul Dennehy of Cape Cod, MA, Richard Dennehy (Sharon) of Austin, TX., Virginia Murphy (Kevin) of Boston, MA, Kathleen Sheridan (Jack) of Boston, MA, Mary LaRoche (Wayne) of Boston, MA, Barbara Ball (Bill) of Cape Cod, MA and Beth Nadeau (David) of Cape Cod, MA; and her pet Hanna.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Cemetery (604 Colbern St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to West Central Missouri Veteran's League, Johnson County Missouri Food Center or Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance.
