He is survived by: his children, Laverna Pugh of Springfield, Missouri, Stanley McCannon (Tricia) of Bunceton, Missouri, Walter "Peewee" McCannon (Anita) of Leeton, Missouri, Teresa Cottingham of Springfield, Missouri and Galen "Joe" McCannon of Knob Noster; and his siblings, Morris E. Lester, Kenneth Craig Lester and Emily Christine Lee. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
