She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Koonce and Ada Della Koonce (Stephenson); and her siblings, Michael Earl Koonce, Terry Koonce and Donna Metzger.
She is survived by: her significant other Lonnie Johnson; her children, Stephen Cheek, Michael Johnson, Kenny Johnson and Trisha Cheek; her brothers, Donald O'Neil Koonce and Don Koonce; her grandchildren, Brian, Austin White, Hailey Cheek, Matthew, Mackenzie Cheek, Dillon, Jacob, Kenna, Payton and Kendall Johnson; and her great grandchildren, James White and Riot Johnson.
