Lass of Center, Missouri, born in Garner, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Lass and Rita Lorenz Lass. He is survived by: his wife Julia A. Baze; his children, Christine Allgood (Mark) of Willamsburg, VA, David Lass (Ann) of Richmond, VA, Johnathan Rosner of Alton, IL and Tessa Jurado (Joseph II) of Hannibal, MO; his sisters, Diane Kirchner (Richard) of Harvard, IL, Donna Kay Padowitz (Julian) of Hampton, VA and Debra Lass of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Zachary Lass, Colt Allgood, Cassie Jacobs, Camryn, Jace, Koby Rosener, Joseph, Landon and Chloe Jurado; and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Charlotte Allgood and Claire Jacobs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Church in Monroe City, MO or Restricted Funds, which is a welfare and retirement fund for retired clergy.
