She is survived by: her parents, John E. Ames and Maggie Garrett Ames; her spouse Kenneth Leon Phelps; her children, Kenneth E. Phelps of Center, Marsha Smith of New London and Jean Ann Bateman of Hannibal; and her siblings, John Edward Ames, Jr. of Moberly, Terry Ames of Moberly, Lawrence Ames of Moberly, Bonita Campbell of Moberly and Mary Katherine Phelps of Hannibal. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
