He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Eaves and Mabel Emma Govro. He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Light (Jim) of Hamilton and Beverly Stochl (Rick) of Imperial; his grandchildren, Amy Michael (Chris), Bridget Reitz (Zach), Andrew Roberts (Lindsey), Brooke Stochl and Brock Stochl; and his siblings, Janis Lynch (Dick) and Jimmy Govro. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
