It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joan Betle of Cedar Hill, Missouri, who passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Spalding and Cecelia Spalding; her husband Louis Charles Betle; her siblings, Lucille Korte, Jean Sullivan, Charlotte Gruettemeyer, Leonard Spalding, James Spalding, Robert Spalding and Walter Spalding; her grandchildren, Kellie Kay Kennon and Samuel Louis Usery; and her son-in-law Larry Scheiter.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Scheiter, Karen Garrett (Michael), Marsha Nelson (Mark), Glenda Crow, Christy Jennewein (Chris), Judy Gonzalez (Tom) and Kenneth Betle (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Daniel, Casey, Dalton, Wyatt, Amber, Jared, Jake, Shawn, Amy, Becky, Joey and Jimmy. She is also survived by great grandchildren along with numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial donations in Mary's name may be made to the American Lung Association.
