He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Fleming Dorsey; his stepfather Newnam Dorsey; his wife Elizabeth "Carol" Dorsey of Cedar Hill, MO; his brother Bailey Dorsey of Waco, TX; his children, Lynne (Glenn Jamarron), Susan Dorsey of Layfayette, CO, David (Sabrina Dorsey) and Cynthea Dorsey of New Castle, CO; his stepchildren, Mark, Heather Moreno of Carbondale, IL, Cindy Moreno, Tony Passini of Springfield, IL, Deb Moreno of St. Louis, MO, Paula Funk of Springfield, IL, Kim, Josh Pforr of Oakland, IL, Krista and Randy Snider of Charleston, IL; his grandchildren, Ashley, Garrett, Josie, Nicholas, Alison, Matthew, Tabytha, Tiffinie, Caleb, Tannar, Lizzie, RJ and Toby; and his great grandchild Gage.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions and Jim's wishes to be cremated, a private memorial will be held at a later date.
