He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurston Gilbert and Margaret Gilbert; and his sister Jane McNear. He is survived by: his children, Denise Bullock (Robert) of Scott City and Tracy Simpher (Curt) of House Springs, Missouri; his grandchildren, Olivia Hubbard (Stephen) and Connor Bullock; and his sister Jean Gilbert of Berkeley, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
