He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mattingly and Ann Mattingly; and his siblings, Helen LeMon, Agnes Geitz and Paul Mattingly.
He is survived by: his wife Patti Mattingly; his son Paul Mattingly; his stepchildren, Robyn Patient (Kalob), Tracie King (Brian), Christina Robles and Edward Jr. Rollberg (Jackie); and his siblings, Gloria Mattingly, Butch Mattingly (Mary), Thomas Mattingly (Tammy), Beth Mattingly, Terri Mattingly (Jeff), Peggy Mattingly and Tracy Sigmund (Rich). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; one great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Mortuary (6300 State Rte 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016, USA). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
