He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Brooks; and his brother Henry Dale Brooks. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Riley (Matthew) of Valley Park, Rebecca Stewart of Cedar Hill and Patricia Reno (Donald) of Dittmer; his grandchildren, Heather, Justin, Kyle, Blake, Anna and Mary; his great grandchildren, Lily and Emmett; and his sibling Jerry Brooks (Rita) of Florida.
