He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin A. Viehland and Jewell Viehland; his brother Erwin W. Viehland; and his brother-in-law Russ Rose. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Viehland of Cedar Hill; his children, William Viehland (Dawn) of Cedar Hill and Tammy Viehland of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Heather Hodder (Jason), Zoe Viehland and Aden Viehland; his great grandchildren, Bentley Hodder and Luke Hodder; and his sisters, Joyce McGraw of California and Elaine Rose of Missouri.
