He was predeceased by: his parents, Q. L. Mitchell and Georgia Gertrude Casey Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Pat Mitchell; his daughters, Daphne Stokes (Donald) and Liz Clements (Jeff); his grandchildren, Tyler Williams (Jaden), Nate Williams, Olivia Clements and Lincoln Clements; his great grandchildren, Kabella and Kreed; and his sister Carolyn Joy Brown (David). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
