He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Beatrice Hess Mims and David Roy Mims. He is survived by: his wife Ivy Renee Mims of Catron; his children, Travis Mims (Danielle) of Portageville, Sheryl Boyd (Raymond Desrochess) of New Madrid, Stephanie Yagle (Jason Yagle) of New Madrid and Stacey Mims (David Martin) of Caruthersville; and his siblings, David Mims Jr., Edward Mims, Lily Errin (Claude Ervin), Elaine Brooks and Reba McDonald. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren.
