She was predeceased by: her parents, John Guenzler (Phoebe) and McDaniel; her husband Edmund Murphy; her son Howard Murphy; her siblings, Arvil Guenzler, Archie Guenzler, Melvin Guenzler and Alice Guenzler; and her granddaughter Jill Whitlock.

She is survived by: her children, Donald Murphy (Michell), Joan Whitlock (Dave) and Gary Murphy; and her daughter-in-law Vicky Murphy of Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
