He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Lillie Amanda Duncan (Starkey); his former wife Mary Marie Cowell; his wife Naomi Sue Owens; his siblings, Mattie Stockton, Lena Stockton, Thomas Duncan, George Erwin and Omah Hampton; his sons-in-law, James Bowen and Leonard Day; and his great grandchild Mary Gamble.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Lee Duncan of Cassville, Missouri, Janice Sue Bowen of Fayetteville and Dorothy Lou Day of Cassville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
