He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rolland Hopkins and Veva Hopkins (Garrison); his son Doug (Amy) of Springfield Mo; his siblings, Robert, Darrell, Jay Hopkins, Peggy McCain, Frankie Vanderpool and Betty Shockley; his wife Alta Fern; his grandsons, Will Hopkins of Long Beach, CA and Chad Hopkins of Springfield; his siblings, Jimmy Hopkins (Sharon) and Donna Kay Guzman of Los Gatos, CA; and his sister-in-law Ann Hopkins of Pleasant Hope, MO.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
