He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Boatman and Ruth Boatman (Hicks). He is survived by: his pet Dee-O-Gee; his wife Carolyn Boatman of Cassville; his son John Boatman (Deann) of Bakersfield, California; his stepchildren, Kyle Evans of Canyon Country, Kim Evans and Shannon De La Cruz (Ricky) of Bakersfield, California; and his sister Janet Craft of Bakersfield, California.. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
