He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otto Wenz, Sr. and Dora Wenz (Schneider); his wife Sharon Griffin; his children, Wayne Wenz (Kelley) of Blair, Michael Wenz of Tekamah, Donald Wenz (Alexa) of Tekamah, Nebraska, Valerie Cox (Luke) of Seligman and Debra Welchert (Jerry) of Cassville, Missouri; and his siblings, Delores Andersen (Lyman) of Omaha, Wilma Stepanek (Donald) of Blair, Nebraska, Richard Wenz (Diana) of Eagar, Windsor Wenz (Patti) of Perry, Iowa, Roger and Daniel Wenz. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
