He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene M. Taylor and Emily B. Taylor (Lumpkin); his wife Elizabeth A. Carrow; his sister Ruth Ann Grosher; his sons, Melvin "Luke" Taylor and Rodney Taylor; his stepsons, James Michael Andrews and William J. Andrews, Jr.; and his grandson Michael Parnell.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Taylor (Carol) of Cassville, Donald Taylor (Stacey) of Idaho, Kandy Parnell of California, Deborah Robles of Washington and Diana; his stepdaughters, Lisa Cooper (Rick) of Cassville and Debbie Mulvehill (Bruce) of Exeter, Missouri; and his sisters, Nelda Baldridge (Harry) and Jeanette Thomas. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
