It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jeanette Cowherd (Cassville, Missouri), who passed away on March 27, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Waldo Eden and Ruth Eden (Robbins); her husband Ernest E. Cowherd; her siblings, Martha Hamilton, Dr. James Eden and Dr. David Eden; and her granddaughter Mary Grace Cowherd.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Cowherd (Barbara) of Purdy, Robert Cowherd (Lou) of Chillicothe, MO, Charles Cowherd of Springfield, MO, Don Cowherd (Cheri) of Billings, MO, Dr. Jeanette Cowherd of DeSoto, KS, John Cowherd (Lynne) of Mt. Vernon, MO and Randy Cowherd (Stacey) of Springfield, MO.; her brother Jonathan Eden (Tammy) of Bastrop, TX; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Hamilton of St. Louis, MO, Martha Lou Eden of Marshall, MO and Rahel Eden of Driftwood, TX.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and one great- great- grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cassville United Methodist Church building fund.
