She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Shanks and Thelma Shanks (Walter); her husband Ken Sloan; her children, Jessica Lightner, Josh Letner of Cassville, Joseph Shanks of Jefferson City, Jason Shanks of Springfield, Jonathon Letner (Christina) of Walnut Grove and Jeremy Letner (Sasha) of Springfield, Missouri; and her siblings, Johnny Shanks of St. Louis, Missouri and Sharon McFarland (Steve) of St. Louis, Missouri. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren with one great-grandchild on the way and several nieces and nephews.
