With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Pehkonen of Cassville, Missouri, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ziemba and Rose Ziemba (Cieslak); and her husband Charles Pehkonen. She is survived by: her children, Brian Clancy of Detroit, Michigan and Lynn Church (Danny Tortorella) of Cassville, Missouri; her stepdaughter Cheryl Pehkonen of Royal Oak, Michigan; and her brother Patrick Ziemba (Janice) of Macomb, Michigan. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
